I can guarantee you that the market will drop by 50% in the future. I cannot guarantee you when.
I can guarantee you that the market will be higher in the future. I cannot guarantee you when.
As long as you own great businesses that will outlast the next crisis, you’ll be fine.
I believe the best defense may be to have somebody you trust, whether it’s a spouse or a professional adviser, who will slow you down when you’re eager to do something that may be wrong for you.
